Happy World Oceans Day
All the oceans of the earth are connected to each other, connected by the same essence; the flow of movement. And, dear Cooler, in that flow we find the pure beauty of being, of nature and of water.
Today is World Oceans Day, responsible for producing at least 50% of the planet's oxygen. They are also home to most of the earth's biodiversity and the main source of protein for more than a billion people #aroundtheworld.
"The ocean: life and livelihood" is the theme of World Oceans Day 2021. A year with many challenges to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 14: "Conserve and sustainably use oceans, seas and marine resources" by 2030.
Aligned with this goal, from Cool Bottles we want to raise awareness as many times as necessary of the importance of caring for that which gives us life. Indeed, the oceans are the Earth's respiratory system: they generate oxygen for life and absorb carbon dioxide and waste. However, plastic does not disappear, but the large fragments are broken into smaller ones, hence the birth of microplastics.
